DALSAL Posted March 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Galveston Island is pretty small, so nothing is that far away!
Ready 2 Go Posted March 12, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Galveston Island is pretty small, so nothing is that far away! Thanks DALSAL, that's good to know. We ended up booking at the San Luis Resort and Spa. The rate was good on Priceline. Any clue if it would be a long walk to get to Queen's bbq? I would love to try some Texan bbq while there. Galveston Cruiser Posted March 12, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Approximately 20 long blocks. The San Luis is 5400 Seawall, Queen's Barbecue is at 35th and Ave S. Ave S is 2 short blocks north of Seawall Blvd.
Carl Nival Posted March 12, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Galveston Island is not very big, so a taxi would not be an expensive trip.
shorepal Posted March 14, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Take a taxi as it is a good 25 blocks away.
