Celebrity Snorkel St Kitts vs Catamaran Fan-ta-sea?

Has anyone taken the Snorkel St Kitts excursion? It's a 3-hour trip, vs 6-hour like the Fan-ta-Sea. It says we snorkel " on the Caribbean side of St Kitts." Anybody have any comments on the snorkeling?

 

I've read the reviews about the Catamaran Fan-ta-Sea excursion and it sounds like fun. But, we're really more interested in a good snorkeling experience - beach and party would be secondary.

 

Any comparison info anyone has would be appreciated. Thanks!:confused:

We did the Fan-ta-sea through RCCL last month. Had a fabulous time, but the snorkeling was not good. They took us to ****ten Bay, which is supposed to be the best snorkeling around St. Kitts. It was probably the worst snorkeling we've done anywhere in the Caribbean. Still a worthwhile, fun day, but St. Kitts is not a snorkeling destination.

I'm also looking to do the Celebrity Fan-Ta-Sea excursion. Did you do it? I'd like some good beach time on Nevis but it looks like it only gives 45 minutes.

 

Any other opinions.
