We have used Special Needs at Sea. They can deliver a scooter to your room on the ship and they pick it up from the ship after the cruise, you just leave it in your room.. Make arrangements ahead of time with the ship to provide wheelchair assistance for embarkation and debarkation. On our last cruise where we could not take the scooter on an excursion, they brought a wheelchair to the room and took my DH right down to the bus for our excursions and when we returned from the excursion we had security call the ship and request a wheelchair to take him back to our room

In Hawaii we had them deliver it to the hotel room and we used it around Waikiki for 6 days then we used an accessible cab to take us and the scooter to the ship.

If you do get a scooter you will need a handicapped room or it probably won't fit thru the cabin door and it would be a really tight fit in sa standard room if you did get it thru the door

i rented a scooter from care vacation- it was in the cabin when i boarded and

i left it there at the end of the cruise. it was very helpful.

one trick i did learn is you might need to take the elevator up to go down and down to go up. everyone was really nice on my last cruise they would hold

the elevator doors while i go on and off.

i am going on another cruise in april and have rented a scooter again.
