What are your 3 favorite European ports?

We've only been once and while every port was wonderful, probably Venice was the favorite. We loved Rome and we loved our stop in Sicily (Taormina).

Florence/Pisa/Naples (Pompeii, Amalfi Coast), Portofino and the two stops we had in Croatia were awesome as well. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

Stockholm

Tallin

Helsinki

Santorini

These are all great walking ports, plus have many places to go on tours. Helsinki we visited when on a land tour of Sweden and Norway. We took a cruise ferry to Helsinki, spent the day, and back the next night. It was such fun to explore the market right at the pier, that we did it again on a HAL Baltic cruise.
