heatherbelle Posted March 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I have a few questions and I hope someone can help. I live in the UK, can I use an American TA to book my cruise? If I cancel do I get a full refund so long as its before my pay in full date, like Disney, (UK TA would keep my deposit) How does price drop work, if I see a drop I take it I just phone my US TA if I can use one. A UK TA wouldn't offer a price drop, the price you lock into is the price you pay. You can see why I am keen to us a US TA. Cabins, thinking of an inside on one of the Med cruises, are any better than others. For example Disney has some sideways ones that seem larger due to the layout of the room. Thanks. Yes you can use a US TA when you live in the UK and if you cancel before final payment then you get full refund. If you see a price drop then you contact your TA and request the lower price. In the US this is up till final payment, in UK you can get price drop even after final payment. Yes some UK TA's do give price drops. Before you book with US TA check they don't charge a cancellation fee and that they will honour price drops.
jackretired Posted March 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Cabin Selection is a personal choice: To avoid the motion of the ocean, be in the center of the ship. Top to bottom. Front to back. Side to side in really bad seas. Stabilizers do a good job but sometimes … To avoid noise What is around you What is over you What is under you Look at the deck plans To avoid long walks Where are the elevators To avoid elevators Do you want to be close to MDR, windjammer, pool deck, casino, schooner lounge? To avoid $ Inside To get a view Balcony
