Gaveston info please...post hurricane

We haven't been down to Galveston in several years. When we were last (before the hurricane in 2008), there were a couple really cool shops and a restaurant right on the ocean with a restaraunt ( I think it was on Sea Wall street). And there was a Wendy's and a lot of cool shops across the street that I remember. Have they rebuilt that area??

Galveston has been rebuilt and we are doing great:)

 

The shop on Seawall is Murdochs; rebuilt even better than before.

The restaurant over the Gulf is gone - Hooters took it over so it was destined to go away with or without Ike:eek:

 

Had lunch at Jimmy's, the pier at 81st St. Great views and good food.
