stephanie1 Posted March 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2012 An E2 on the liberty is 15 sq ft smaller than a D3. is that the only difference? The E2 is $100 cheaper. I was in a D2 last year and it was a nice size room. I am trying to be a little conservative this year and thought I would try to save the money. The E2 has a hump cabin on deck 7 available and the D3 (same as D2 but on a lower deck) has a cabin right off the hump - a very desirable location as well. So, other than the 15 sq feet am I sacrificing anything else? Opinions needed.
lori450 Posted March 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2012 I always take the hump cabin even if it's a tad smaller. You know what they say.....location, location, location :) The 15 sq ft is nominal. If it was me, I'd go hump. Cabin, that is.
will773 Posted March 13, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2012 The E's will have a love seat and the D's will have a couch. If you are triple/quad, then all E's will have pullmans, and all D's will have a sofabed.
stephanie1 Posted March 13, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted March 13, 2012 I had a couch on my last cruise when I was in a D2 and it was uncomfortable to lounge on. It basically was a long chair. Could not lounge and watch tv. A loveseat would suit the same purpose. The E2 is on the hump, the D3 is 2 cabins off the hump. Basically the same. Last cruise i was 8 cabins from the back, all the way aft. This sounds like a pleasure hump or not!
