Ugaaucruisers Posted March 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2012 What are the best decks, cabins on the Dawn? Where are the smoking sections? We are looking at 2 balcony cabins and 2 inside cabins? input appreciated:)
flashdog_1 Posted March 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Do your 4 cabins all have to be exactly together? We really enjoyed a stern balcony overlooking the wake, on deck 10. It has a huge balcony BTW. See my signature for our cabin #. I like to be near the entrance to the restaurants, so anything near the aft staircase works for me. I also had an inside (one of the sideways cabins) on deck 9 on Dawn, which was very convenient to the aft stairs/elevators.
Anjjmum0294 Posted March 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Depends on what you are looking for. My daughter and I were on Deck 10 mid ship and we never heard a peep. The best thing to do I think, is go to the map of the ships and check the levels above you and below you if you are going in the main part and not an end. Deck 10 doesnt have restuarants or anything above or below so thats why it was quiet. I had room 10596 and we have taken the same again this year! my_crib_too Posted March 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Although we have never stayed in them, the inside cabins in the suite area on 12 are in a very quiet area of the boat. Staying on deck 12 is very handy to the pool area too.
che5904 Posted March 19, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2012 FYI NCL allows smoking on balconies. If this is an issue for you if your balcony next to you have smokers, you may want to rethink the balcony.
