Is the dining room freezing for dinner??

Recommended Posts

I tend to get cold in the dining room unless I'm wearing an outfit with long sleeves. For those nights when I'm wearing shorter sleeves (I look terrible in sleeveless), I take a pashmina/shawl. You can usually find them for about $10 in the ship's store in a variety of colors.

My best friend is always cold in the dining rooms (but she's always cold when I'm hot so...). I'm usually comfortable, but have been cold once or twice. Carry sweater or a nice shawl (I agree about the pashminas, I have two of them and they work really well as blankets on airplanes as well), and that way you don't have to worry.

I froze to death last yr on the Serenade......the dining room was like a meat locker! I had to take a hooded sweatshirt with me every night because my shawl didn't help at all! For my upcoming cruise I've bought a nice sweater....if this doesn't work I'm taking my husbands suit coat!!!!!!

P.S. I get cold easily and my table mates weren't cold at all....although two of them were going through menopause! :D

We just returned home from the Mariner and for once the dining room was not freezing and I am always cold. I didn't even need my shawl once. You can purchase really warm shawls for $10 on boat, comes in all colors which are really handy for this problem. I did find it colder in lounges after dinner. There I definately needed my shawl.
