ttjtmomma Posted March 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2012 I am new to CC and hope this is the best place for this question. I am going to be on the Sapphire to Alaska 2013. Found out my room will be C506 next to the elevators. Will we be disturbed during the night with people going to there rooms? What is this stateroom like? Nearby is the self service laundry and express elevator service to the International Cafe on Plaza deck. :p I've often stayed near stairs/elevators and have yet to hear any traffic noise. The cabin is a standard inside. Enjoy.:) http://www.princess.com/learn/ships/sa/staterooms/index.jsp

The only time we had a problem with noise was on the last night when all the luggage is being collected. Mosr of the noise was from the corridor and not the elevator. lovevacadays Posted March 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2012 You won't hear elevator noise. My niece and I recently cruised in a cabin right by the elevators and didn't hear elevator noise or feel there was an uptake in noise in the hallways. Enjoy your cruise.:)
