Does anyone here Vape on board?

I love my analogs...wish I could switch totally to my ecig. I've tried nJoy, GreenSmoke, and just bought the Blu. I'm a menthol smoker so it's so hard to find one that truly tastes like menthol. Any advice from menthol smokers? I'll keep my ecig for when I need to get my fix in non-smoking areas though; it's better than going nuts and wanting to strangle someone LOL.

I've been vaping since August and had no problems getting off cigarettes...I guess I'm just lucky!:D Now I can smell a regular cigarette a mile away!

I don't do menthol but people swear by the V2 menthol juice. Just Google V2 and you'll come up with the site. I like tobacco flavors and get my juice from Johnson's Creek...US sourced and made and the FDA inspected their facility. Been very happy with them.

I haven't been on a ship since I started vaping but do fly quite a bit and "stealth" vape onboard. I won't have a problem vapping everywhere on the ship but within reason as I don't like confrontation.:D

I have vaped in just about every venue on a cruise ship except the MDR. I just didn't think that would be right.

I have a couple of stealth (no light) batts. They worked fine in the comedy club and at the production shows. They just don't attract any extra attention. I get my supplies at Vapor4Life.com.

I always hated menthol analogs, but I use the heck out of the menthol juice.

Right now I'm sitting at my desk at work with a tank of banana!

ELECTRONIC CIGARETTESE CIGARETTE SAFETYVAPING VS SMOKINGBEST ELECTRONIC CIGARETTESE CIGARETTE STARTER KITS

ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES & FDAATOMIZERS VS CARTOMIZERSE CIGARETTE LIQUID

VAPING VS. SMOKING

Most people are not aware of significant differences between vapor and smoke. When comparing vaping (electronic cigarettes) and smoking (cigarettes), it is important to begin with a basic explanation of the difference between vaporization and combustion.

Vaporization is the conversion of a solid or liquid into a gas (vapor). When boiling water turns into steam, this is an example of vaporization. With e-cigarettes, a vapor is formed when the atomizer (battery-operated heating element) slightly heats the liquid nicotine solution, converting it into a fine mist. The mist resembles a puff of smoke, but it is little more than water vapor.

Combustion is the act or process of burning that involves a chemical reaction between one or more substances and oxygen. With cigarette smoking, tobacco is burned, creating smoke and other harmful products of combustion. Cigarette smoke contains chemicals that are harmful to both smokers and nonsmokers.

*****************************************

I found this info for people that don't know what "vaping" is. Basically, vaping, depending on who you are talking to, is using an electronic cigarette instead of a regular one to cut down on smoke. If you asked my niece's ex-boyfriend he would tell you it's for smoking medical marijuana.

Hope that helps the clueless, like I was before I read the thread!:D If you want to know more about what the OP is talking about, just go onto the internet as Google "what is vaping", that's how I did it.

I smoked menthol and I use the Smoke Fifty-One. They have kiosks at our malls here (KC, MO) but you can also order online, just google smoke fifty-one. Not only do I love the menthol, they have vanilla as well that are awesome! :D

The menthol on the premium Blu 100's is really good. So good in fact that I haven't had a craving for a real cigarette for months now.

I've tried so many different ones and this is by FAR my favorite. Pricier than most but totally worth it IMO.

I don't live in California but I knew what both of you were talking about from the first post! :D

This thread is still cracking me up watching people post who don't read the whole thread before posting! :D :D

People watching is fun - I don't care where you are!

I used mine in the casino last October (in smoking permitted areas) with no problem. The only thing I did experience was curiosity about where to get one, as many people were interested in giving up smoking, to which I happily obliged :)

I make my own Menthol and my all day Vape is Cherry Menthol.

I did not like the minty so called menthol taste when I first started and moved to making my own to my taste. Seems other folks like it too.

I welcome folks to ask questions in order to educate them about Vaping and how it is a viable alternative to tobacco.

I will admit it that I am a vendor in South Carolina, but am not advertising.

In fact there are a few vendors who are avid Cruise Critic members.

I have used puresmoker "minthia" in fierce (32mg) strength for years. puresmoker dot com - It hits like a truck, and is always consistent. I use an ego manual battery from wherever I can get the best deal, and the slightly fussy but much improved CE3 "smokeymizer" tanks.

Shipboard, I have never had a problem using my E-cig in smoking areas (apart from the occasional curious stare...) Room stewards have never noticed anything, but they have consistently unplugged my charging

batteries. I hope this helps.

I have vaped numerous times all over the ship - no problem.

I'm with Sarah - check out Totally Wicked. I tried many and at the recommendation of someone here on CC, I checked out TW and loved it! I have the Tornado T.

I have the exact same setup. Love the Tornado T tank. A filled cartridge will last me for 2-3 hours . . . batteries between charging easily 6-8 hours. I'm vaping TW's Honeydew Melon on one and Vanilla on the other. Johnson Creek also makes some very good e-juices.:)

Once you dump the pre-filled cartridges and fill your own with bottled e-juice of various flavors, you just don't know how hassle-free vaping can be.

Vape on the ship almost everywhere except the MDR. It would create altogether too much chaos to do this. Have stealth vaped on an airplane, but openly vape in airports. Never ever a problem. I've found the ones that object the most to the vaping are people who just can't deal with the fact that you've overcome your nicotine habit with a healthier less intrusive method and instead of being happy for you, they search constantly for some little crack in the logic to attempt to get the whole thing STILL declared a SMOKING AREA product only. Very unhappy people, IMHO. :)

Oh, after reading all the posters, yeah I get it now. Why don't they just buy the gum?

Tried the gum 15 years ago . . . gave me a headache.

Can't blow "vape rings" with gum, either. :D

It's more the hand to mouth like smoking an analog. Then it's the flavors. Finding the right juice. I like Blue mist Robacco menthol. It took a lot of samples to find the right taste. I started with a 510 and now use an E-go. I now drip but started with carto's then CE-2's. The wife and I can't wait to vape on our cruise.

Thank you all SO much. I think you've helped more than just me here, too. Since he started vaping, he actually doesn't like to be in the smoking areas not so much because he's tempted, but he doesn't like the smell anymore, lol. I think I'll look into getting him one without the light, too...so he can keep it in his pocket for stealth vaping. The funny part is it usually just smells like a fruit cocktail unless he's doing the peppermint. btw, I found this hilarious video (most of the vap-ers have probably seen it, but if not, please look and share...it's hilarious!

Just back for the Freedom with my Tornado T. No problems vaping anywhere except once in the casino with a pit boss giving me a hard time at a BJ table. There was only one other player at the table (at the other end) and neither they nor the dealer had any problem. Whilst discussing the logic of it all with the pit boss for a supporting argument she dusted off the "fire at sea excuse"

No difficulties at the airport or stealth vaping on the plane.

I think as e-cigs evolve and go away from the imitation cigarette look the less problems there will be. My black Tornado T looks nothing like a cig and I think that helps.

Mine just looks like a black and pink pen. If I leave it somewhere I go back and ask if I left my "pen" and it's always found. It's always in my hand or pocket. It's now like a part of me. I purposely use one that is NOT white. I don't want people to think it's a cigarette. It would cause too many hassles. I use a dse901 with a tank and LOVE! I used to use the refillable cartridges but hated the burnt taste if there wasn't enough liquid and if you put too much in, you can end up with liquid in you mouth.

Sarah.....question or you. What is a tank? And are there lots of different cartridges in Menthol for example Med-light-full flavor?

Have tried a couple kinds and cant really find something I like yet.

Appreciate any info on your product you use.

If you don't use the fluid....why is it a tank.

I don't think I would like mixing or filling anything to use.
