Car rental and Nicelodeon Hotel??

Recommended Posts

I have sailed out of Port Canveral for both my Disney cruises...next year, we are taking the kids on a RCI out of PC on FOS. I know PC is about an hour from the airport/DW...not sure if we should rent a car and just stay somewhere close to port or rent a car and try out the Nickelodeon Hotel just for a fun extra day for the kids? The cheapest we could get a RT shuttle would be $200 if all 7 in our party rode together. Just trying to get an idea of a cheaper way of getting to/from port and throwing in something 'extra' for the kids..short of DW! We did the whole DW/DCL last year and yeah it was fun...but it will be a few more years before I brave DW again!! LOL

I am thinking of doing just one night at nickelodean. We would fly down early Saturday morning and get on FOS Sunday morning/afternoon. It would give us most of saturday to hang out at the hotel. I think my son would love it. We are planning to rent a car anyways.

We really enjoyed staying at the Nickelodeon hotel. The rooms were nice and the water slides and pool were great. The kids loved it. If you can manage it I think it would be a great way to start your trip.
