Anyone stayed at Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach, FL

My husband and I are leaving for our cruise this Sunday (May 1), and are driving from Kentucky to Port Canaveral, FL. We're staying in Cocoa Beach at the Motel 6, which is suppose to be across the road from the ocean.

 

Has anyone stayed at this motel before?

Just curious. I'm a bit particular as to where I lay my head. It's a fairly frugal room rate as well ... King sized bed for 2 adults, runs us $45.00 a night.

We stayed at the Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach in March. Were very happy with it. It has a great pool, nice landscaping and a short walk to the beach. Our room was clean and they were very accomodating. We planned on staying two nights and ended up staying a week, because of the beach access, the great pool and we felt it was a great value. Paid a lot more for other motels, which did not begin to compare with this one.

It sounds like we found a good place, I can rest easy now. Who knows, if its that good, we might end up extending our vacation and staying there after our cruise too!:)
