Ziplock bags are a must! Also bring a soft sided coler. You can order room service the night before, and have lunch packed for your day excursion - a big money saver! I saw a woman making pb&j sandwiches at breakfast to bring to WDW, and I gave her some of my bags. She was going to wrap them in napkins. The bags can be filled with ice from the buffet to keep things cool. You can also bring your own soda cans on board, which you can bring with you. Since you have younger guys, you may want to bring juice packs instead of soda.

PS Ask your room service people if they " mind if we leave you ... when we leave ", the little things that you do not need at home, like the shoe bag thing. Alot of the staff do not get to buy " stuff " and as they are on the ship for a long time, our little extras are a treat to them. We have a friend completing her Masters degree, she works the cruises to support herself, and anything ( detergent, good suntan lotion, shampoos, etc. ) is truly appreciated. It certainly helps the students especially save even more.

Great suggestions! We leave today on the Dawn...took her last year...one item we will be taking will be the little champagne pump/stopper that you use to cap up a bottle if you don't finish it. That way you won't have flat champagne and you can always chill it in the bucket since the bottle doesn't fit in the frig. Also, the coffee pots in the room are only for water and instant coffee. I think you could make coffee but you would need to take it and the filters but not sure. Hope this helps...

Linda - have a great time! As for the coffee in the cabin issue, keep in mind that you can always order room service coffee - just ask them to bring you a whole pot.

Had a pot delivered every morning - for those that are really into their coffee you can always bring a French Press. Packs easily and makes a great cup of coffee.
