Celebrity or Carnival for a 3 generation family holiday

Wanting to book a cruise to please a family of 3 generations, do i aim for the quieter cruise for the grandparents on celebrity or please the teenagers with the all action Carnival fun ship. Surprised to find that the Carnival is the more expensive option!!:confused:

I don't think anyone can answer this question for you. However, if I were in your shoes, my choice would be Celebrity.

Depends on when you want to do this cruise. If its during school holidays, then Celebrity might be fine, but if it's not, Celebrity might not be a good choice because they don't attract nearly the number of families that other lines do. Celebrity doesn't have nearly the activities that lines more geared to families has. Have you considered Royal Caribbean? I've always found it to be an excellent choice for multigenerational families.
