Am I Obsessed

Every day I am on cruise critic and yet I notice a lot of the same people also here. I guess we all have OCD :eek:. I enjoy the threads and reading them. Now I don't work, but I am sure a lot of you do. Don't worry, I won't tell if you are on cruise critic during work. Isn't it hard not to click on cruise critic every day? I don't believe I am the only one obsessed or am I? :rolleyes:

 

:D You are NOT alone lol I am on here all the time (lurking and searching mostly) I am planning our first cruise and I have become obsessed!!!!! I have gone to disney almost every year for the past ten years and so I was CONSTANTLY on the Dis (disney boards) now I have moved over here :D To me planning is just as fun as going:cool:, and alot of people who like to complain about bad vacations are the ones who did no research...too bad for them

Good thing I'm self employed can work around CC and Cruising. Problem is the more I read the more I want to cruise!

 

DH thinks I've lost my mind, "you on there again..OMG" he says. If he only knew the real reason I pay the internet bill every month..lol

I check our roll call a couple of times a day and also the general Carnival postings. Have done so since around Sept 2010 when I booked our first cruise. I learned so much and hope I may have helped someone else with one of my replies.

Actually, the first step to recovery is to have another cruise booked.

The 12 step program is to have 12 cruises booked...one for every month.:D

Did I mention that I enjoy cruise critic more than my soap operas :D:p:) and believe me for years, I have been looking at soap operas.

No doubt once the wedding and cruise are over, you'll start your never-ending "honey-do" list for your hubby (:D), and still spend lots of time on here. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptuals! Hope you have a wonderful cruise!:)

All of them. I record Y&R, B&B, DOOL and now GH. I never watch TV during the day so that is the reason it is almost 1:30 a.m. and I am still up. I just finished watching 2 of them and decided to check out CC once again before going to bed. I am not a primetime TV watcher.

 

I think I need that 12 step program some of the posters were talking about. :rolleyes:

New member, but can't stay away. I would also have to admit to checking it about as often as FB and it distracting me from my soaps (Y&R, B&B, GH)

Recently unemployed, awaiting DH to start a job to where I won't NEED to work, therefore searching for ideas for many upcoming cruises :) both with & w/o him.

I have been on 3 cruises:

Carnival Fantasy 2006 (5th anniversary & MIL's 50th b-day)

Carnival Sensation 2007 (spring break w/the kids)

Carnival Dream 2010 (kids' graduation present)

 

As you can tell by the dates, the addiction to cruising was IMMEDIATE! And since it's been almost 2 yrs since I've gone, I'm am completely bugging out! I also live in close proximity to Port Canaveral, which does not help in the least! I feel like I am an accident waiting to happen on the highway if there is a ship in port.:D

 

if anyone wants to join a board for general stuff - http://www.miketreadwayonline.com. It's a new board so members are just getting started. we could even talking cruising over there. Basically, I'm here, there, or FB. Rough life these days :rolleyes:

It's just general stuff right now and adding to it as suggestions come in. There is radio/music sections, news section, I know they're gonna make a recipe/food section. It also has photo galleries and blogging. Basically any topic can go there. Several of my "friends" (internet friends) were on a web/message board that kinda originated from fans of a talk radio show (that is actually nationwide). That board expanded quite a bit and we would even have get-togethers and DH & I have met a lot a awesome people. That board recently closed down and somebody decided to start a new one. I believe you can check it out as a guest w/o signing up if you wish to do so first. Maybe I'll see ya there :)
