Formal Night On 5 Day Elation

How formal is formal night on these short cruises

Well.....its Elegant Night and to be honest, can be fairly casual to impressive

I've seen everything from prom formals to very casual.

I will be in a calf length dress that is suitable for church or dinner out with clients. DH will be in sports coat, shirt and tie and our son will be in slacks and shirt and tie. The dressy side of church clothes.

 

We leave Friday for a Monday Sail Away.

I think me and one other guy wore a tux on the Elation.

We were on the Elation in February for a 5 night cruise. We did not do formal night but I noticed men in suits, men w/shirts and a tie and men with decent pants and a basic shirt. Much more casual and relaxed now compared to our first cruise on the Inspiration in 2001. I suggest wearing what is comfortable for you so you can enjoy the meal. Have a great cruise.
