To Hell and Back.

Does anyone know how much a cab ride to Hell and back from the port is? I'm doing a couple snorkel excursions, but was thinking about running out to Hell just for the Hell of it. Also, how much time does it take to get to Hell and back?

It gives the cost of transportation in the very first sticky post here on the Grand Cayman boards. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=449552

First, the Hell location is only unique because of it's name. Some black formations which make it look like you are really there. Small gift shop/post office (which is kinda cool to send a post card from Hell). Transportation? Take the bus. $2.50 US pp each way. Bus station is in town a couple blocks from the tender pier, next to the Library on Edward Street. Walk out the cruise area, cross the street, walk up Fort Street to Edward and turn right, you'll see the mini-vans parked Just ask anyone. Catch the Yellow (Route 1) or Line Green (Route 2) bus. Busses are actually mini-vans. When it's time to go back, just flag down the yellow or lime green bus. BTW, the busses are painted yellow or lime green, just the sign in the window. Stop at the Royal Palms Beach Bar on the way back and have a drink or three :D
