More Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter questions

Ok, I know there is a ton of info on this site, and I have been reading as much as I can. But...

I booked the Dolphin Encounter in a couple of weeks. I just want to have a good idea of what to expect schedule wise.

My reservation says:

Check in Location: Paradise Island Ferry Terminal

Check in time: 1:00pm

Boat leaves: 1:30pm

Do I have to take this boat, or can I take an earlier boat to enjoy the island before the Dolphin Encounter?

And from what read here, 4PM is the last returning boat? Couldn't find this info on their site.

Thanks.

If you are not with a large party, you can go on the ferry with an earlier group and enjoy the beach. Just go to the ferry terminal 30 minutes before the ferry time to pick up your bracelets.

Last ferry back is 4pm ..

Thanks for the quick info.

I found it odd that they list the encounter departure times as:

8:30 AM

10:30 AM

1:30 PM

3:30 PM

How would the 3:30 time slot possibly be done before the 4PM return ferry?

Does not affect me, just curious.

From what I understand.. those are special time slots. Most of the crew and staff leave on the 4pm.. I've personally never seen the 3:30 encounter.. and I've been to the island more than a dozen times in the last 2 years.

The beach/bar/kitchen closes at 3pm.... so there would be nothing to do after that time on the island.
