rok233 Posted April 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2012 I'm cruising on the Dream in July and was wondering if a 12:25pm flight will give me enough time to get from the port to airport? I'll have a driver waiting at the port when I debark.

S.S.Oceanlover Posted April 1, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2012 Thanks for the reply. :) You are welcome. I have cruised DCL twice from Port Canaveral and have been at the airport at like 9:30am for a 2pm flight. Bill
cruzkrazy Posted April 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2012 If there is an earlier flight I would get that one. It's better to be too early than watching your ship sail without you. JMHO

JMHO Hi cruzkrazy. I think the OP was asking about the flight time for after the cruise is over and has to get to the airport to get home.:) Bill
cruzkrazy Posted April 1, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2012 I see now, boy did I read that wrong. I was worried he would miss the ship if he was getting in at 12:30.

I'll have a driver waiting at the port when I debark. When we got off the Dream in December it was no problem for us as we were group 1 (the perks of being Platinum!) and we were off by 8:00 am. But our traveling companions had group 38 so they did not get off the ship until almost 10:00 am. I am not trying to alarm you, if you are doing self debark you should be fine.... but we dropped them at the airport and then went onto our hotel - we arrived at the airport at 11:25 am. Not sure about how long it took them to get through security and get to the gate - but they were ok as the flight they were on was at 2:45. They didn't have a flight until 2:45pm CCL will definitely assign them an earlier debarking time based on their flight time.:) Bill
