Belize on Christmas Day

We are considering booking a cruise that would be during Christmas week next year.

 

We will be in:

Christmas Eve - Cozumel

Christmas Day - Belize

Boxing Day - Roatan

 

There will be 6 of us travelling (All adults - including our Special Needs adult son) Does anyone have any experiences of any of these ports during the holidays? What is open, what is available, what not to miss?

We are once again getting quite excited - even though it is still 21 months away.

 

Christmas break is the only time that our friends can join (co-workers of my DH and they are restricted to 1 vacationing at a time - except over Christmas Break).

 

None of us are shoppers - but we may still want to go cave tubing or on an excursion and just want to make sure that there will be something happening on those days.

Anytime we have been at any Caribbean port on Christmas Day, we ALWAYS booked a tour offered by the ship!

 

Since you're not shoppers, you should be able to find one you'll enjoy. :)

There are normal places to go that are closed on Christmas Day. By booking thru the ship you'll go to places that are open. We took our children for many years on Christmas/New Year's cruises and found this to be true. At least it's something for you to consider. :)
