OC SeaPA Posted April 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2012 We are going through the panama canal in November. The other couple has an inside, so would like to know if 9173 balcony is larger than most- accomodate 4 of us? Big difference in price to go to the next level cabin. Is this "the hump"? Any other suggestions for cabin # and we'll see if available. Either side better for viewing the canal, or both about equal?

Keep in mind, however, there will only be 2 chairs and a table. There is no "hump" on M-Class ships. Either side is fine for the Panama Canal. You will probably find other venues to go to during the transit as well - it is a long day! Only other suggestion I would have for a 2B cabin is the same location on Deck 8 - less of an overhang from above. Otherwise, the location is great as you are very near the aft elevators, and easy access to the buffet on Deck 10. You've picked a great cruise! Enjoy. OC SeaPA Posted April 8, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted April 8, 2012 Thanks. I think I will call TA tomorrow for deck 8 or 6 (sweet 16) if available. Any suggestions for a larger balcony without going up in price?
