smiles32617 Posted April 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Hi everyone! I am taking my honeymoon cruise in September aboard the Carnival Liberty. This will be my future husbands first cruise and I was hoping he could experience the runners like I have in the past. So I was wondering if anyone has taken the Carnival Liberty itinerary recently? If so can you tell me which side I am more than likely gonna port on for the following stops: (I have left Half Moon Cay out because I know it's a tender) St. Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk. Thanks so much! I know it's a WEIRD request:)
mondello Posted April 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2012 If you're talking about rootin' and hootin' at the pier runners, I thought the best port for that was Cozumel.
oregonjuli Posted April 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2012 We sailed Liberty in Dec on that Itinerary - loved it!! We were in an aft wrap on the right side of the ship (if you're on it) Cabin 8455. Sorry, I get confused and can't remember which side it which. Every port we were on that side. Grand Turk had a pier where the ship could have docked on the other side since another ship was there. Have a great time. We can't wait to go back. The ship is beautiful. gail811 Posted April 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2012 St. Thomas we docked on the Starboard side. I had a port side cabin and we got a view of the harbor. Last year on the Freedom we had a starboard side cabin and got to look at Señor Frogs! San Juan we were against the dock, but there was a Holland America ship that arrived later and their starboard side was against the dock. Not sure if it is the same each time. And this was the view from our port side cabin in Grand Turk And a view of the ship from the beach
