Emerald Princess Tenders in water at FLL

Anyone else watching the web cam and noticed that there were two tenders in the water (definitely looked like Princess) next to the Emerald? She should have left by now. Anyone?

I don't know what is going on with the Emerald, but I know on our last cruise that after we left a port, we stopped in the water, dropped a tender and evacuated someone for medical reasons. We were eating dinner and asked what was going on because we had stopped for quite a while.

My sound was off but has come back. We had problems with the hydraulics getting the tenders up at Princess Cays on our January 17, 2012 cruise. If I recall correctly it was that same side.

Thanks Cindep ! I just checked and it says sound on but nobody is talking.

I hope there are no problems for the Emerald. I am excited because I leave on the Crown two weeks from Sat.

I haven't had sound for a couple weeks now.

It looks like they pulled some thing up from one of the tenders through that platform on the side of the ship. It looked like it was orange fabric or something. I was wondering if it's some kind of drill.

And what I saw looked like maybe an inflatable raft. Looks like it might be a bit breezy ... maybe something got away from them? They're in the process of lifting one of the tenders.

we jsut got off the Emerald Princess but had been stuck with an afternoon flight out of Ft Lauderdale.

Our flight, and many others, ended up being severly delayed due to weather in Ft. Lauderdale. The plane we were taking had to go to Ft Myers to refueld before landing at Ft Lauderdale and was over 2 hours late - and this snowballed and delayed other flights. AS we were taking off, my husband saw Princess reps in the airport - this was close to 4PM, so I'm guessing they were waiting for people who had booked flights through them.

Hi

Thank you clarifying the delay. I was also watching on the Webcam and noticed the tenders. It did look pretty breezy down there-we had wind in Central Florida, too.

The sound was on, and did hear the comments about the departures and a catamaran coming in behind the cargo ship. The ship was supposed to leave at 4PM but it was close to 6 by the time you pulled away. Saw the X and Hal, too.

I saw the Emerald get underway and heard the horn blow. We've been on her twice, so she seems like "home" to us-as with the Ruby-(twice).

Have a great cruise. So far, no noro for us--keeping our fingers crossed on all cruises.
