Wondering about the "official" member reviews...

the ones that can be acessed through the icon at the top, near the CC logo. I wa curious as to why more people don't post the "official" member reviews (with the rating scales and the whole '9 yards')? I'm sailing on the Valor next month, and there's only a handful of reviews on there (more on the actual boards here), the most recent being 2/05. I didn't know if just "any" CC member could post the review there, or what the scoop was. thanks!

The reason I've never posted an "official" review is that they can take over a month to post. By then, the information can be somewhat outdated, and ends up being of no help to cruisers about to sail. Posting them here gets the information to everyone a lot faster.

Not all of them get posted... many people just post reviews here because they are quicker and more people look here than in the reviews section...

I agree with both of the previous posts. I spend some time writing a review of our Elation cruise, submitted it and, waited. It was never posted, so I got frustrated and just put a review on the boards.
