Carnival Paradise

Sunset Rider

Recommended Posts

We sailed on the Paradise in late February. This was our 3rd sailing on her. The first two were in 2000 and 2001. Since then the Serenity deck has been added. They added new carpeting and flat screen tvs in the cabins. She doesn't have the waterworks area like other ships in her class. There is a small circular pool on the level where waterworks would be. I liked this ship. It was small enough to find your way around easily. Have a great cruise!

I know they updated it in January or February can anyone tell me what all they did.

There is a lot of information about the Paradise here: https://www.goccl.com/irman/bookccl/the_fleet/paradise/left.htm

This is what the Fact Sheet on there says about the improvements made:

Renovation completed during dry-dock: 1/28/12-2/11/12

* Routine hotel maintenance

* Cosmetic enhancements such as new carpeting, wall coverings, tile work, lighting in lounges and public areas

* Suite U69 converted and now ADA compliant
