flyboyswife Posted April 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Packing today for first NCL cruise. If our group is not the partying type, what are we missing by not going to the white party? Or alternatively, going but not being dressed in white? Thanks in advance!
Rare drumexpert510 Posted April 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Well it's not really the crazy party if you don't want it to be. I would still go, it's an experience. You cam sit and hangout and watch, or get up and dance. But it really is cool to just see everyone in white, it just adds to the effect.
2Cruise4Ever Posted April 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2012 I agree with Drum... you don't HAVE to dress in all white if you don't want to either. But, watching everyone else dancing around is fun for me! :)
dalgirl Posted April 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2012 I admit that we never go to the white party - there is so much going on around the ship that we just don't remember to go:) If you aren't the partying type, don't worry about it, there are plenty of things to do in its place. Rare www3traveler Posted April 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Th White Hot is a lot of fun even if you just watch from a corner. You are encouraged to wear and the gift shop will probably have "White Hot" T-shirts for sale on the day of the party. The officers who are there have changed from their black evening jackets back into their all white day uniforms. They are usually in a back corner for awhile. You should try to go even for a few minutes. Warning-the music is very loud. For a widow in her 60's, it is a lot of fun.
