How early Can we drop luggage off

We are planning on dropping our luggage off & going to park & take shuttle back to port canaveral....does anyone know how early we can drop luggage off? Boarding starts at 1230

We have arrived as early as 1000 and someone was there to take luggage.

When we were there they open the doors at 11:00 to start boarding:) Both times:eek:

We were able to drop off at 9am in Miami - but you will have to find the porters ... there are a couple assigned to take new luggage, but they typically don't see people that early, so sometimes it's a stretch to find them. By 9:30 there will be a couple positioned outside the doors - but they won't let you start security screening that early - you'll be waiting, inside the building, for the screeners to arrive (typically around 10am). We only know this because we had a "free" ride to the port if we went early, but would have had to pay for a cab if we went later - figured the savings in cab fare bought my first few DODs, lol.
