Glory Spa Cabins - Whats different about them?

Are there any perks to these rooms? Do they look any different than regular balcony cabins? I know that the balconies dont have an overhang, which is a plus for us.

Thanks!

We had one on the Conquest. There were no extra perks with the cabin. The perks that come with a spa cabin are the ones that are Spa 9 which are on the Slendor, Dream, Magic and the soon to be Breeze.

You are right there is no overhang on the balcony. The big difference in the room is that the door to the balcony is a sliding door.

I really didn't care for the Spa Deck cabins on Glory. We had a fair amount of rain on our cruise, so the balcony wasn't usable a lot of the time. Even when the rain stopped, the deck was wet - the drainage wasn't very good. Next, the sliding door to our cabin slid back and forth when we were out on the balcony; DH had to put something in the track to keep it from sliding. Finally, we didn't like the location; it's one deck down from Camp Carnival, and parents and kids use the elevators on Spa Deck to come and go. (I think the parents were noisier than the kids, though.:p)

We were in 1112 and 1110 in December on the Glory. We didn't have any trouble with the sliding door moving on it's own during our cruise though I had read before we left that it might. We didn't have any noise issues from Camp Carnival either. Loved the room, there was a door just off our room that led straight out to the deck and cut down on travel time to the Lido :)

I would definitely do it again. Low traffic area, quiet and our room stewards were amazing!
