Adventure Ocean -

Hi,

Looking to book our cruise for next year, only real dates that suit fall 3 weeks before DD2's third birthday. So my question is will AO take children short of their birthday or do they have to be 3 on the nail?

DD 1 will be 5 and loves adventure ocean and really dont want DD2 to miss out.

Thanks for any input.

Erica

Unfortunately the 3YO age restriction is related to the line's liability insurance and they have no leaway to be able to allow a not quite 3YO to participate in the regular AO program. So DD2 will need to be officially 3YO as of emarkation day to be qualified.

Onessa is exactly right (of course). We had this exact issue with our Freedom cruise in 2007 - my youngest was turning 3 on April 27 so I moved our cruise to the week after her birthday. We still called it her "3rd Birthday Cruise" ;)

And they are strict with potty training as well - so we had to make sure she was "potty self sufficient" - which she was.
