jessiesgurl Posted April 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2012 We're booked for our first cruise on 2/10/13 Breeze leaving from Miami; and I was wondering how the weather is in Miami, and the Caribbean at that time? We stop in Grand Turk, Ochos Rios & Nassau. Should I pack flip-flops in my carry on so I can change out of my winter gear? I can't wait! RTRMom Posted April 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2012 We have been to Nassau in February before, it was hot and nice to take a dip in the ocean. Not sure about the other ports.
vivavegas Posted April 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2012 Miami temps should be fairly mild and the further south you go, the warmer the temps get. I say take your flip-flops and some light clothes. To be on the safe side, I'd take a light jacket.
spunkyhungry Posted April 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2012 I did a January/February cruise to the Caribbean last year. It was hot at all the ports (Bahamas, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Turks & Caicos) and felt like summer! I think we boarded in Ft. Lauderdale. It was warm, but I felt fine in sneakers and jeans. Since I flew from Boston, I wore a tank top and a sweatshirt, and that worked perfectly for both temperatures.
