juicy1 Posted April 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2012 A friend of mine has booked an internal gty cabin for a cruise at the end of May. They have been assigned a promenade cabin and are delighted. They are afraid that RC might change it on them before sailing, does this happen and if they do can they change it for a lesser internal cabin or only up a category once assigned? A long winded question I know. She is afraid to get her dd's hope up about the promenade cabin.

Starry Eyes Posted April 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2012 since they booked a gty, they have to be willing to be flexible. If the cruise lines wants to move them, they can, but it would be unusual to be moved after the assignment. It would be even more unusual to be downgraded. they should be happy.
