ceffler Posted April 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2012 We are looking to book on the Elation and are thinking of doing a porthole room. I know on some ships you can access the front deck from some decks. Does anyone know which floor allows to to access the deck on the front of the ship? stevethepirate Posted April 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2012 The front deck is the crew deck. There is no passenger access. There are some passenger decks that let you look forward. Deck 11 above the bridge is one. Ships that have balconies have a small deck forward of the cabins.
KimmieTN Posted April 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2012 We just got off the Elation and had a porthole room. There is no access up by the rooms, but it was a quick walk to the elevator/stairs. It only took a few minutes to go up to 10 and then over to Tiffany's to get coffee/breakfast. Not a bad walk at all.

You can get there by going forward past the staterooms and through the double set of doors or by using stairs from deck 10.
