What did Moderno replace on the Gem?

Sailing on the Gem in June. We sailed the Gem to Bermuda last summer and enjoyed the specialty restaurants, except for the Italian one. Just wondering if anyone knows which restaurant Moderno replaced and where it is located on the ship. Thanks!

It replaced the Latin restaurant, Tequila. We enjoyed Moderno so much that we ate there twice on our recent cruise.

Thanks so much for the info! I enjoyed the Latin restaurant, but not as much as my boys loved the chicken wings and brownie sundaes in the Blue Lagoon! They'll be happy to know it's still there!! I think we'll definitely try Moderno. Menu looks interesting!!!

Blue Lagoon is directly across from Moderno so you can enjoy it all;)!!

Wow, interesting. Hope someone posts pics of it soon - it seemed like a very small space to fit a salad bar and such.

On the Jewel it was in a small area but it all worked. The salad bar was awesome, not huge though. You really need to save room though for all the wonderful meats...It was the only time I was so stuffed but I wanted to make sure I tried it all! :D
