wonder why the port times are changing?

Fascination has changed the times they are in port in nassau from 8-10pm to 8-6pm for our cruise, and some others have said theirs have changed from 8-8. anyone know the reasoning for this? im bummed because although i know to not book a cruise based on ports (as they can change), i was looking forward to the longer stay in nassau. the other poc is hmc, which i know understand that it is a frequently missed port. boo! lol.

It's only a guess since I don't know but I'd say it may be a safety issue with crime.
