Camp Carnival Age Group note

Just a note about the Camp Carnival age groups.

 

Everything I read previously on here stated that they are pretty firm about the age groups and will not make exceptions at all.

 

I just got off the Fascination last week. I have a 5 year old, an 8 year old, and an 11 year old, so they would all be in different groups. No big deal, and I didn't even ask about it because of what I read on here.

 

But the first day, when we went to sign them up, the lady looked at my 5 year old, and said "You look like you are pretty close to 6. How long until your birthday?"

 

When we told her June, 2 more months, she asked my daugter if she would like to move up to the 6-8 year old group, as she thought my daughter would like the activities more. So we did.

 

We never even asked, the Camp Carnival employee suggested and even recommended it.

 

So long story short, if you would like to move a child up an age group, it can't hurt to ask, since apparently they do this from time to time.
