Eze from Cannes

Hi,

We are tendering in Cannes on Liberty Of the Seas on May 14th (7am to 7pm).

The "plan" at the moment is to take the train to Nice aroudn 9am and spend the morning in Nice. Looking around the market, Castle, etc have some lunch and head back to Cannes for a dip in the sea, before boarding the ship about 4pm.

After reading about Eze and looking at a couple of pictures, I'm wondering how quickly we could get to Eze?

The bus from Nice according to the timetable takes one hour (& is infrequent), which is too long for me. Is it possible to get a taxi easily from the station Gare de Ezez sur Mer?

Or if we took the bus to Eze, how hard would it be to get a taxi back to Nice/ Gare de Eze sur Mer?

Anyone done this and know the cost of a taxi Eze - Gare de Eze, or Eze - Nice?

Even if we do Eze, I'd still like to have some time in Nice (say 2 hours), a swim & drink in Cannes (1 hour) and be aboard the ship before 5pm, after leaving around 9. Is this possible or is Eze too much?

The last thing I want is to be rushing all day

Thanks in advance

Craig
