Can I use the spa if I buy a massage (STAR)?

Hello all!

I was wondering if someone knew the answer to my questions. Will be on the Star in a few weeks, yay!

If i purchase an hour massage, do they let you use the facilities at all before or afterwards? or is it just the massage and then have to leave?

Also, I've read that on other ships they have spa specials/deals while in port. Can anyone confirm this for any recent STAR sailings or other recent Bermuda sailings?

Thanking you in advance :)

I just returned from my 1st cruise on the Jewel. I went and had a massage and they escorted me directly into the treatment room, had me disrobe, then given massage and then redress all in the same room. I was not offered any of the spa services. This is supposed to be a Mandara Spa, which I have been to a few different Mandara Spas off cruise ships and my experience was quite different. I had the option of using all of the services (ie:showers, jacuzzi, robes). I usually have 2 massages on my vacations, but after not having the opportunity to relax and lounge in the spa afterwards I opted not to return.:(
