Who has been to Atlantis?

I looked up the tour with the site you mentioned. It states on the Atlantis Aquaventure Excursion page, the following:

 

“The Aquaventure program is only available to guests staying on island. This program is subject to availability and may be SOLD OUT on certain dates as deemed by Atlantis"

Does that mean that this excursion is not really intended for Cruise guest? I am interested in taking advantage of this offer, but what to make sure I understand all the terms correctly, because it is a lot of money (for 4 of us).

 

NO, not at all, infact when i saw that I emailed them to confirm that was not the case. However day passes CAN get sold out, so i had them send me the credit card form to prebook and reserve, it was a matter of 15 min we got charged confirmed and were all set :) other CC members have done the same which is why i decided to use them as well after such good reviews of their tour company

So.....I was in Nassau last November (Thanksgiving cruise)....we took the water taxi over to Atlantis, walked around the shops, gawked at the boats in the marina...went inside, through the casino...the lobby was blocked off for hotel guests only (so, we couldnt go downstairs to see the free part of the aquarium)...but we were able to go out on the balcony and look out at the resort area....and I noticed that we were able to walk further down the balcony than before....(but not actually into the resort)...

 

Are you saying this is no longer possible??

 

I'll be going there again in Jan 2013, with my 21yo son (his first cruise)....I think we will plan to the walking tour which is near the ship....

 

I was thinking of maybe going over to Atlantis just to look around again, but if it's locked down for guests only, should I bother?
