AMAVERDE & AMALYRA Sept /Oct 2012

[Train Riders]

We have booked on both of these ships/boats to cruise from Bucharest to Budapest & then a week later from Budapest to Amsterdam in Sept/Oct this year. Prior to joining the cruise segements, AMA/ScenicTours there is a bus tour of Turkey.Is there any helpful hints etc for either of these river cruises,we have done a lot of travel in Western Europe by motorhome & train so have a good idea of what to expect, We hope its not another ABC tour[another bloody castle ,church,chateau]{good Ozzy language there}. & would prefere to see more of the countryside & the normal side of living that the population has rather that just the historical side.

All thoughts & suggestions taken on board &thought given to what we will eventually be doing.
