Can you take your wine to dinner?

Recommended Posts

The cork fee is really not about them opening your bottle - some waiters will charge it some will not - pretty much a crap shoot there. We just carry a glass of wine in to the MDR with us - no fee for that.

I personally would not risk taking a bottle of wine to the MDR. Instead, just take two very full glasses of wine. They won't question you at all.

Enjoy!!!

Last cruise we went on (last year) we took a bottle in every night actually. Never charged a corking fee. We did have it opened and had our own glass as we came in. But we brought the bottle with us. If they had charged us, I would NOT have been pleased and would have let them know in the tip. But they were as nice as can be and never said a word. Each adult can bring one bottle on board. And if you have a nice travel agent (like we do!) a lot of times they send a fruit, cheese and wine basket to be delivered to your room as well. That was nice.:D
