Hi,

 

I was also on the May 1st sailing. We DID turn the clocks back one hour. I asked at the purser's desk about the ship/local time thing and they said if we did not turn the clocks back one hour, we would be 2 hours ahead of the islands (I assume because of daylight savings time) and that is too big of a difference. So, the ship time, after changing the clocks back one hour, was still one hour ahead of local time.

Pam - thanks for the info. It can get a little confusing. The good thing about my excursion in Belize is that it always goes by Belize time. We will meet up with Coral Breeze at 9 am (Belize time) which means it should be 10 am ship time. Sounds like we lose an hour rather then gain an hour....
