3redheads Posted May 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2005 We are thinking of switching from Eastern Caribbean to Southern Caribbean. DD is 12, turning 13 on cruise and DS will be 8 years old. How does the Serenade compare to the Voyager class? Will there be enough for them to do?? Just not too enthusiastic about the stops in San Juan and Nassau. Thanks Kim

Folgy Posted May 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2005 There is a rock climbing wall /mini golf /waterslide/movies /games room...all kinds of things for kids their age. The Serenade is a nice large ship but not too large as some of these floating malls. It is only smaller ships that they find really a big snore.7 day cruises or less have more kids for them to play with as well.
3redheads Posted May 1, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted May 1, 2005 Folgy, I was doing a search on the cabin we have held, 1554, and noticed you had that cabin for your birthday. How was it? Do you recommend it? Right now we have a JS aft (1394) on the Navigator, but don't care for the itinerary. I guess we'll have to pay for the airfare to San Juan  Kim

Meritza(concierge) says 1554 is her favorite suite due to location and view and privacy. I will book 1554 again in a heartbeat. You lucky duck, you will enjoy the time of your life . I know I sure did. :) also* It has two huge glass doors that give a very wide opening to your balcony.
