Hi,

Going to belize in August on Carnival Legend.

Is there time to go to Bannister Island (ship excursion) in the morning and then have lunch on the ship and then go into town in the afternoon?

If there is time for both, should I do Bannister in the morning or afternoon?

Thanks for your advice!!

You need to call Carnival and ask if you are taken directly to Bannister from the ship on the tender (you probably are) but you will probably not be taken directly back to the ship after the tour. That is how it was when we asked for our last cruise (didn't do this tour becaues of this). We were trying to avoid going into Tourism Village completely (nothing of interest to us and very crowded with all stores selling the same overpriced stuff). After the tour, they take you to Tourisn Village because they want you to buy the overpriced stuff because they get a %, therefore, you can't eat on the ship. To eat on the ship, you would have to tender back to the ship after being dropped off at Tourisn Village, then come back again. Definitely not worth it!
