bdkb Posted May 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2012 Is fog an issue in early April? Just booked the Magic for next easter and now have to look at flights. Soutwest doesn't have air for that timeframe yet but it looks like the return flight options to Chicago will be 1pm or 4pm. Is the 1pm flight too risky due to fog? Most of the fog threads I came across were in January and Febuary, was hoping it is less likely in April.

ssb Posted May 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2012 1:00 pm should be fine that time of year. It's all relative to mother nature! It's like should I plan a snow ski trip to Colorado next April.??? Will there be snow?????
cbfosterdog Posted May 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2012 I live 15 minutes SW of Hobby and any fog usually lifts by mid-morning if not earlier. The airports are far enough from the coast that it really doesn't effect them for long. Also, the weather is usually nice in April...:)
Jimnbigd Posted May 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2012 1pm for Hobby airport should OK. It might be pushing it for Bush/Intercontinental airport.
