bermuda scuba operators?

Can anyone recommend a good scuba operator that picks people up at the kings wharf cruise port? Also, how much $ do they run. What RCCL is charging for a 2 tank dive is kinda steep. ($165 per person:eek:)

Just did the trip to Bermuda (4/19/12 - 8 night) and dove on shore at Elbow Beach and the Blue Water @ somerset bridge.

 

Guess what. They will all charge you $165 for two tank boat dive with gear. So I would suggest you consider the RCCL deal and avoid the taxi fees.

 

Did not find any shop that pick up at dock other than Fantasea and I think thats who RCCL uses. Fantasea has a shop very close to the docks.

 

Enjoy the dives. not great but enjoyed being underwater. Maybe RCCL/Fantasea dive sites are better.

I did a discover scuba dive with blue water and the people were great! I had done a snuba prior to this adventure, so I knew how to clear mask and equalize pressure in my ears. I contacted them prior to going and took the #7,[i think],bus to the nearest stop above the Sommerset bridge. This sold me on diving and I was open water certified last Sept. I can't scuba this trip due to recent surgery, however the doc said snorkel was fine. One of my instructors said to contact "Dive Bermuda" as they would give me a great snorkel spot. They are near Gibb's lighthouse and I know it is easily accessible by bus. They have a site online with phone # and a dive map. I will give them a try thurs. I think.
