Daytime and dinner attire Uniworld River Beatrice

This has probably been asked and commented on quite a bit...but digging did not turn up many current posts. My husband and I are booked on the River Beatrice (Uniworld) in July for the Danube cruise Budapest to Passau. What types of clothing do passengers wear...both daytime and dinner? Fancy at all in the evening?

I haven't been on River Beatrice but just sailed on S.S. Antoinette in April. Daytime attire is casual, in the evenings most people dress up a little but nothing like formal wear. There are two nights, the gala welcome dinner and the farewell dinner, when people wore sport jackets for men and sparkly tops for women.

We sailed on the Beatrice Passau to Budapest in 2010. "Smart casual" for dinner is fine. Very casual atmosphere. Loved the itinerary, the tours & the ship. Happy sailing!
