So the Bay Bridge that connect Annapolis to the eastern shore has Pride going user at around 630? I've always wondered. I want to take the kids to Sandy Point to see it cruise on by one day.

 

That's correct. We tried catching the Pride sailing under Key Bridge a couple weeks ago and missed it, so we drove down to Stevensville and watched it come under from the Eastern Shore side--I needed "personal photos" to have some postage printed.

I could be wrong. But I remember something about the Conquest and New Orleans. That sometimes the ship had to be diverted to Mississippi if the tide was to high because of the bridge.

I read that during high tide the QM2 will clear the Verrazano Bridge by 13 feet.

i also read that stack was made purposely short to fit under that bridge.
