How to decide? Which aft, which ship? Do you like to weigh in on other's trips?

Recommended Posts

It's funny, I know but since I post so much info here, I figure it's best to be safe, plus lets face it 10/10 is a really lousy password;) Even though I post our trips, we always have a dog sitter (big guy!) who stays at the house, so Im not advertising an empty place. Besides, whats to steal, I spend all my money on travel ...LOL! It's so sad we have to think this way to stay a step ahead:(

So true! Although, I almost wish someone would come rob me when we're out to sea. We have our passports with us and that's all we really want or need anyway! LOL

OP- Have not been on Adventure but have been on Explorer and Voyager and Jewel.

Jewel is a great ship and has a great crew. I would chose it to enjoy the

non-upgraded Radiance class. I love the WJ out door seating and the glass.

We have found Jewel to offer alot to do but then we are show, dinner and

casino people.

You can't miss with either ship. Do let us know what you decide and why.

hello! so, for starters, southern caribbean is the best! personally, I would choose the Jewel option. In fact, we'll be sailing same route on her in May 2013. We prefer as many ports as possible & love Radiance class :) Tough because both options are so great! But the one day at sea and the class of ship would sway me :)

Good luck!

Oh phew, for a minute I was thinking...maybe not Curacao!;) I know it's a little more built up, more casinos and what not, but I need to do some research to see that to do there. What did you like about it? What did you do?

We loved the way the town looked. It is so cute with all of the colorful buildings and the moving bridge, etc. Hard to put into words but it was just perfect looking from the ship. We spent most of the day at a resort enjoying the ultra clear beach water when we were there. It seemed a little different somehow than other ports we've visited on the southern itineraries.

Love that WJ...DH just came home and looked at photos, but it's hard to make him understand the appeal of jewel since he hasn't sailed her yet/

I't been a while since we did a port intensive S caribbean, and we'd love to go back...That Jewel itinerary has some old favorites!

Not the best picture of it but it was the KonTiki Beach Resort. Of course, this was 3 years ago but it was really nice with beach beds and loungers and pretty white sheer things over the tanning beds. Back then it was $5 to get in.
