alexieb Posted May 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Passports and a notarized letter saying the children are allowed to travel with you. I hope they will go into the camp so you can enjoy some alone time on your vacation!
adschmad Posted May 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Most cruises you are ok bringing their Birth Certificates, as long as it's the official birth certificate (NOT the hospital souvenir version). You will also need a notarized letter signed by their father that allows you to have them on the cruise and to visit the countries that are on the itinerary. Almost Packed Posted May 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2012 yes, make sure you have that notarized letter. many people are never asked for it, but once in a while they do, as my friend found out the hard way and was denied boarding. luckily they accepted a fax copy just in time to board. and camp carnival is great! You'll have to beg your kids to spend time with you lol.
AngAndBoys Posted May 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2012 I cruise with kids and just birth certificates. I went on 4 cruises before I found out I needed a notarized letter from their dad! On the last 2 I brought it just in case, but nobody ever asked for it. Tip: Banks offer free notarizing services. You can just download a standard form, fill it in, and have your husband go to the bank with it. Happy Sailing!
